Dispatch Updated 21 May 2026
Now A standing inventory of attention.
Following Derek Sivers’ /now convention — what’s actively loaded into the next few months. Reset on each update; nothing here is permanent.
Building
- The SPC India Member Residency application, due in June. The artefacts it leans on are this site and the ground station.
- Getting the Lucknow ground station to run unattended through the monsoon. Currently the chain stays cold between captures and the SatDump pipeline is touchy on resume.
- Three consequence chains in active resolution — tracked at chains.
Thinking about
- Whether a one-rooftop install in Lucknow can produce useful independent PNT cross-checks without a second station to disambiguate local interference.
- How much of consequence-chain reasoning actually generalises — methodology, or just a heuristic I happen to find useful.
- The right scope of the first hardware-software bet for the new venture. Two candidates, both space-adjacent. Killing one this month.
Reading
- Currently: Working in Public (Eghbal), Seeing Like a State (Scott), and a clutch of papers on rooftop LRIT site diversity. Notes land at reading. when they shift something.
